The Learning Webb creates engaging educational content for students in public schools and homeschool environments, serving learners from Pre-K through ninth grade. Our collection includes books, workbooks, educational music, videos, and apparel designed to make learning meaningful, memorable, and fun.
Our educational materials cover a variety of subjects, including reading, phonics, speech, mathematics, history, science, and social-emotional learning. Our books are designed to encourage connection between children and the adults who guide them. Each book is paired with a workbook featuring reading and comprehension activities that help children demonstrate what they have learned while creating opportunities for meaningful conversation between adults and children. The materials can also be used for independent learning, classroom instruction, or group reading activities.
Learning Through Culture, Music & Creativity
At Learning Webb, we believe children learn in different ways. That's why we incorporate music, storytelling, art, and movement into the learning experience.
Each book is paired with an original Hip Hop song inspired by its theme. Through rhythm, rhyme, repetition, and melody, we use music as another pathway for children to connect with and remember information. Hip Hop is a powerful cultural art form with a global influence, and we believe its energy and creativity can help make education more relatable and engaging for young learners.
Our mascot, Little Reggie, brings an additional element of fun to the experience. He dances, raps, sings, reads, and learns alongside children, helping create an environment where education feels exciting and approachable.
Representation Matters
A major part of our mission is creating positive and authentic educational experiences for African American children.
Children deserve to see themselves reflected in the stories they read and the people they learn about. Representation can help children develop a strong sense of identity, build cultural awareness, and understand the accomplishments and experiences of those who came before them.
At the same time, these stories are for everyone. Sharing authentic Black stories and history gives children from all backgrounds an opportunity to develop greater empathy, appreciation, and understanding of different perspectives and experiences.
The Story Behind The Trailblazer Project
The Learning Webb journey began with The Trailblazer Project, created by Reginald Scott Webb Jr. in 2019.
The original idea was to create a comic book highlighting historical figures who persevered through racial barriers and became pioneers in their respective fields. During the research and writing process, the vision evolved. Instead of a comic book, the project became a children's book designed to introduce students to remarkable individuals whose stories are not always discussed in the classroom.
The goal was simple: shine a light on the trailblazers who helped change history.
The project focuses on individuals who were among the first to accomplish something significant in their profession or field. Their stories demonstrate courage, perseverance, creativity, and excellence while reminding young people that barriers do not have to define their future.
From that first book came an even bigger vision.
We created workbooks to help students engage with and demonstrate their understanding of the stories. We created apparel featuring the characters and their accomplishments, bringing education and fashion together. And we created original music that transforms the stories of these trailblazers into memorable songs.
More Than Books
The Trailblazer Project has grown into an ongoing collection of books, workbooks, music, and videos dedicated to sharing stories of perseverance and achievement.
We celebrate the elders and pioneers who overcame segregation, Jim Crow, discriminatory laws, and other barriers. We also recognize today's trailblazers—people who continue to overcome social, financial, and personal challenges to create new paths and opportunities.
Our vision is bigger than teaching facts. We want to inspire children to see possibility in themselves.
Learning Webb is committed to serving young people in our communities and across the country by creating educational experiences that inform, inspire, and connect.
We believe learning should be engaging.
History should be remembered.
Culture should be celebrated.

About The Author
Born and raised in Baltimore City. He always had a passion for writing and being creative in numerous ways. He graduated from Coppin State University with a B.A. in Journalism and Photography. His journey in writing started with him attempting to mimic the writing styles of his favorite rappers. This eventually pushed him in the direction of creating music and rapping, which led to him signing two record deals. While being signed to his second record contract he became a co-owner and founder of a company called Hip Hop on Phonics. This company created educational Hip Hop and R&B music for children. Eventually the business partners of this company would all take different paths and Reggie decided to carry the torch and keep creating. During this time, he gained custody of his two children and began caring for his daughter who was battling major sickle cell anemia complications. This caused the record label to release him from his contract and, he became a full-time parent and decided to work in the field of education so that, he had the same schedule as his children during the day. Working as a substitute teacher and a part-time BSU advisor for middle school and high school he began to draw inspiration from the lesson plans and daily classroom activities. He noticed a lack of Black history lessons taught, and that is when he produced the idea for The Trailblazer Project. During B.S.U. meetings he would begin to share different stories of prominent figures in history, and he noticed how the students would get excited learning about people that paved the way for us to be here. With his background in music, he decided to combine that with his literary abilities and the Trailblazer book, song, and video was born.
Currently, Reggie is back in the studio creating both educational music and his signature boom bap, trap turn up music. He is also working on several literary pieces for his company called, The Learning Webb.
The Learning Webb is a company that creates educational content for students in the public school system and home-schooled students. This content consists of music, books, videos, and clothing as well. Our company creates this content for students from Pre-K through ninth grade. We cover various topics such as speech, math, history, science, and social and emotional topics. Each book has a workbook for students to demonstrate they were able to comprehend what they read. Each book comes with a Hip Hop song and, that song is built around the theme of the book. We use melodic learning because it is a multimodal learning method that uses the defining elements of singing, pitch, rhythm, and rhyme to facilitate the capture, storage, and retrieval of information. Hip-hop is one of the most influential genres of music in the world, so using it to educate the youth will positively impact the younger generation. Music is one of the eight types of intelligence according to Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences.
